Our Testing Capability (What We Do)

SSDVerify Labs is a deployment verification lab for SSDs (Solid State Drives). We help MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and SMB IT (Small and Mid-sized Business IT) reduce DOA (Dead on Arrival) and early-life failures by providing SSDs that are tested, documented, and traceable before deployment.

Standard Validated (screening):

  • Record identity (model, capacity, firmware, serial number)

  • Health snapshot and error log capture

  • Verification read/write screening

  • Baseline performance check within defined bands

  • PASS/FAIL decision + Acceptance Test Report (ATR)

Burn-In Certified (stress screening):

  • Everything in Standard Validated, plus

  • Sustained read/write workload for an extended period (overnight option)

  • Monitoring for errors, timeouts, disconnects, and abnormal behavior

  • Post-run health and error log comparison

  • PASS/FAIL decision + Burn-In documentation in the ATR

Traceability (built-in):

  • Every unit is labeled and tracked by shipment ID and serial number

  • FAIL units are quarantined and never mixed with PASS inventory

Important Clarification

  •  SSDVerify Labs is not a formal PCIe/NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) protocol conformance certification lab. We are a deployment verification lab designed to reduce operational risk for MSPs and IT teams.

If a customer requires deeper protocol-level testing

  •  If a project requires formal protocol-level compliance testing, we can coordinate with specialized third-party labs as needed.

Our equipment:

  • ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safe handling bench

  • 8-lane M.2 NVMe (M.2 = small SSD form factor; NVMe = interface) test capacity

  • Stable power (UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply))

  • Traceability tooling (label printer + barcode scanner)

  • Quarantine controls (separate FAIL bins and locked storage)

  • Burn-in capability (overnight stress screening schedule)

Service Options:

1) Verified SSD Supply (We Provide the SSDs)

We supply SSDs that are verified before shipment and accompanied by documentation.

What you receive:

  • SSDs labeled and traceable by shipment and serial number

  • ATR (Acceptance Test Report) with PASS/FAIL results

  • Optional Burn-In Certified tier (burn-in = longer stress screening)

Best for: MSPs that want a reliable, deployment-ready source without spending technician time on bench testing.

2) Batch Screening Service (You Ship the Batch to Us)

You send a batch (example: 50+ SSDs) and we screen it before deployment.

What you receive:

  • PASS units labeled and ready for deployment

  • FAIL units quarantined (held or returned based on your instructions)

  • ATR (Acceptance Test Report) with PASS/FAIL list and traceability

Best for: rollouts, refresh cycles, and any deployment where failure risk creates major rework.

3) Testing-as-a-Service (You Provide the SSDs)

You provide the SSDs and we provide verification and documentation.

What you receive:

  • PASS/FAIL determination using standardized workflow

  • ATR (Acceptance Test Report)

  • Traceability labels (shipment ID + unit ID)

Best for: customers who already buy from a preferred source but want verification and documentation.

Testing Tiers (What We Do to the SSD)

Standard Validated (Fast Acceptance Screening)

This is a practical screening designed to catch DOA and obvious defects before deployment.

What we do:

  • Record SSD identity (model, capacity, firmware, serial number)

  • Capture health snapshot and error indicators

  • Run verification read/write screening to confirm functional stability

  • Perform a baseline performance check within a defined band

  • Mark PASS/FAIL and document results in the ATR (Acceptance Test Report)

Best for: most endpoint (PC/laptop) deployments and standard MSP installs.

Burn-In Certified (Longer Stress Screening)

Burn-in is a longer test that is designed to expose early-life failures and time/heat instability.

What we do:

  • Everything in Standard Validated, plus

  • Sustained read/write workload for an extended period (overnight option)

  • Monitoring for errors, timeouts, disconnects, and abnormal behavior

  • Post-run health and error snapshot comparison

  • Burn-in results included in the ATR (Acceptance Test Report)

Best for: servers, NAS (Network Attached Storage), higher-risk clients, and large rollouts.

Traceability and Quarantine (How We Prevent Mistakes)

Every unit is tracked by:

  • Shipment ID + Unit ID + Serial Number

FAIL units are immediately placed in Quarantine and are never mixed with PASS inventory. This prevents “bad lots” from spreading into deployments.

What Customers Receive (Deliverables)

Each order includes:

  • ATR (Acceptance Test Report)

  • PASS/FAIL list

  • Traceability labeling on units

  • Clear handling instructions for FAIL units (return/hold/replace depending on the engagement)

Turnaround (Typical)

Turnaround depends on volume and tier:

  • Standard Validated: often 24–48 business hours after receipt for pilot batches

  • Burn-In Certified: typically overnight cycle + next business day reporting

(Exact timing is confirmed during quoting.)

Important Clarification -

SSDVerify Labs is a deployment verification lab. We are not a formal PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) / NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) protocol conformance certification lab.

If a project requires formal protocol-level compliance certification, we can coordinate with specialized third-party labs. Our core service is verifying deployment readiness and reducing operational failures for MSP and IT environments.

Who This Is For

SSDVerify Labs is designed for:

  • MSPs (Managed Service Providers)

  • SMB IT teams

  • IT resellers / staging partners

  • Rollouts and refresh cycles where reliability matters

Start With a Pilot

The fastest way to evaluate SSDVerify Labs is a pilot:

  • Batch Screening Pilot (50+ SSDs), or

  • Verified Supply Pilot (we supply tested drives)
